How do I forward my phone? You can forward your phone from the physical phone by following the onscreen instructions or you can forward your phone through a web portal by logging on and changing the routing of your number.
How much bandwidth does each phone require? We recommend that each phone/extension have 80K of internet bandwidth. We can compress the requirement and to maximize the number of phones on your system, however, the clarity of the call will be compromised.
Can I fax thru VOIP services? Fax is working its way into the VoIP world, however, with any machine over 5 years old we recommend keeping an analog line for this service.
Can I have a live person answer each call or does your system require an auto attendant to route traffic? Yes, each system can be customized for the call flow that you want to interact with your customers.
What happens if the internet goes down? Our system is designed to route calls to an alternate number in the event of an internet outage. Once the outage is corrected, the system will automatically route traffic back to the original destination.
How many voice mailboxes can we have on the system? Unlimited, you can customize as many mailboxes as you would like to manage.
Does your system offer a music-on-hold feature? Yes, load up any wav file that you want and it will play for any caller placed on hold.
Can we have an auto attendant that only answers at certain times? Yes, each hosted VoIP PBX customer can have an auto attendant start, stop, and back up in times frames customized by the administrator.
Am I limited to the number of phones I can have on the system? No, you can have as many phones/extensions as your bandwidth will support.
How do I check my voice mails? Several different ways, physically from the phone by entering the mailbox number and password, having the voice mail sent to by e-mail to a computer or cell phone, or by logging into your phone’s web portal.
How do I change or edit my auto attendant? Log in to the web portal and select Auto Attendant from the menu. Select the auto attendant’s name that you want to edit and program or record the auto attendant to your liking.
Where do I view the daily call logs? Log in to the portal and view the daily call records by phone number or extension.
How do I add or subtract a user from my system? As the administrator of your hosted PBX system, simply log in to the portal and rename or delete an extension/phone number. You can also reset the password for the mailbox in the same portal?
How many callers can I have on my conference bridge? As many internal (on the hosted PBX system) callers as you would like. You are limited to external callers by the amount of virtual phone lines you have on your account.
